Courage Ride 2010 was a great success......Food, Live Music, Entertainment and a great ride through Eastern Iowa

March 7, 2011:  A proceeds check for $30,000 from Courage Ride 2010 is presented to Dr. Mohammed Milhem (holding check), Dr. George Weiner (far left) and Dr. Ben Miller of the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, by Jackie Bailey and the Courage Ride planning committee.  The funds help with projects such as the Sarcoma Registry at the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.  At the meeting, the doctors gave an educational presentation on their research work covering Sarcoma and other cancers. 

Courage Ride 2011 is scheduled for Saturday, August 27, 2011.

The ride featured trip lengths of 19, 27, 53, 70 and 98 miles on beautiful countryside routes.
